I was just thinking about you three, after I had been to Lille to see a bit of the Tour de France - more like the Charade de France, I thought but I think it's getting a bit more serios now they are in the Pyrenees and cycle chains are mysteriously falling of.
What I wrote was supposed to be "stay tuned" (as with a short-wave radio): my little Saudi colleague in Riyadh used to say this when his telephone rang to interrupt our conversation. Well, it might be somebody REALLY important on the line!
Sorry this reply has taken so long - like the EU, eh? Let's keep in touch. My e-mail address is jim_naisbitt@talk21.com. regards to you three and thanks again for the advice - and, of course, for the beer! regards. Jim (St Albans, UK).

As I lie on my sick bed (well armchair actually) unable to concentrate on my list of tasks, I thought I would just wish you a happy 70th birthday and let you know that someone is reading your blog. However, what surprises me is that at your age you have to leave it so late into the night to write up your blog! Maybe its true that life gets busier when you retire.

Going back to the sermon on the talents there is a very good audio sermon by Fr Barron at www.wordonfire.org about the need to take risks if we are to grow in faith.
